Proper Setup & Break-In is essential to rider safety, vehicle performance & reliability of your new scooter.

We encourage you to read your scooter manual completely.

Scooter riding is a community sport drive responsibly.
Always wear your helmet

UNCRATING YOUR SCOOTER
Note: Set-Up and prepping your scooter is to be expected this is a normal function when receiving a mechanical devise. In many cases you will not receive an instructional manual as to the assembly of your scooter. Please call our service department for assistance if needed.

1
st. We recommend that you inspect the scooter box at time of delivery, make notations of damage with the truck driver.

2nd. Uncrating your scooter, tear away the cardboard box. Unscrew all bolts at the base of the metal frame containing the scooter and lift the cage over and away from the scooter (at the same time have someone hold the scooter in place as you remove the frame). With care undue the tape and bubble wrap. Be careful to account for all loose parts. Keep all parts separate for assembly.

3rd. You will want to check, tighten and torque down all screws, nuts and bolts. Wheels, Brakes, Steering etc. Do not over tighten.
4th. Assemble any accessories that may come with the scooter (Mirrors, Cargo carrier, Basket, Windshield etc.).

5th. Battery Set-Up: Your battery is located either under your floor mat or your seat fill battery with electro-lights (batter acid) evenly in each cell, top with water ¼ full from the top be sure caps are firmly in place (we recommend eye protection and gloves). The battery is self igniting so your battery will be ready to go within 15 minutes. Connect drainage line to battery and run through the bottom of the vehicle to drain (you may need to cut the drain line so that it will not hang to low beneath the unit) Connect the red wire to positive and the black wire to negative. If your scooter has additional wires i.e. 2-red wires connect to positive and the black and green wire to negative. Be sure that the battery is firmly in place.

6th. Oil & Fuel: Before filling the fuel tank the gasoline should be blended with two-stroke oil in the ratio of 50:1. The mixture should be well blended and uniform (This is for the 50cc 2-stroke scooters only). This is recommended for the first 2 tanks of fuel. We recommend premium oil for your scooter (MOTUL for example found at some automotive, motorcycle or marine dealers / Ask your local dealer for their recommendation).
When Pre-Mixing oil you may experience white smoke and sluggish performance this is due to richness of fuel during this period.
Note:
After you have ran through your first
2 to 3 tanks of fuel we recommend you replace your spark plug. (Bring your spark plug to your local dealer or auto center as to insure proper cross reference and replacement).
There are two types of 2-cycle oil 1-a pre-mix oil to add to gasoline and 2-injector oil to fill your oil reservoir. This is highly recommended be sure that these two oils are the same make. If you are unable to find separate types of blends be sure the 2-cycle oil states that it is recommended for both pre-mix and injected.
Use good injector oil for your oil reservoir (50cc scooters only). Use premium 10-W30 weight oil for your engine oil (125cc scooters only).

7th. Starting Your Scooter:
Be sure kill switch is not on The kill switch is located on your right hand integrated with the light switch (look for the symbol of a circle w/an X through it). Push switch to the opposite symbol position this will release the kill switch). Firmly engage the left brake lever at the same time you start the engine either by electric start or kick starting your scooter.
Choke: (if manual) pull out to start. (Some models have automatic chokes.) Your scooter may have difficulty starting at first do not continue to engage the electric starter begin to kick start sometimes as many as 15 to 25 times this is done as to not to wear down the battery. Allow your scooter to warm up 2 to 3 minutes.
REMEMBER:
When Pre-Mixing oil you may experience white smoke and sluggish performance this is due to richness of fuel during this period.
8th. Be sure to adjust your brakes front and rear. No need to adjust disk brakes.
9
th.
Proper Tire Pressure: - Front Tire 122.5k Pa (34psi) Rear Tire 147kPa. (35psi) as per tire specifications.

BREAK-IN PROCEDURES. [This is the most important time for your scooter].
1. Never ride full throttle for a long extended period of time, ride using the throttle on a smooth on-again off-again pattern during the first 600 to 625 miles (1000km).
2. Avoid unnecessary wide rotation of the throttle. Never accelerate suddenly, ease into acceleration.
3. Avoid maximum speed during this period.

10. After the braking in period premium or regular unleaded gasoline should be refilled (Without adding oil) provided that the engine oil pump is confirmed normal. Even during the braking in process, the engine oil tank (reservoir) should be filled with two-stroke engine oil (Approximately one quart).
