The ideal solution would be to put the wall-to-wall carpet into the washing machine. There you have a pre wash for heavy soiling, a main wash and then several rinses. 

Kärcher – the cleaning equipment manufacturer of world repute – has managed to transfer to carpeted floors the operating principle of the washing machine. 

In the spray-extraction process, cleaning solution is sprayed into the carpet under pressure and picked up again immediately afterwards. 

The dirt is rinsed deep down out of the carpet pile and not just removed from the top third. With normal soiling, the cleaning solution is sprayed and vacuumed away again in the same pass.  

With stubborn dirt, we recommend you ore-spray the carpet and let the cleaning solution re-lease the dirt. 

In a second pass, the carpet fibers can be rinsed thoroughly with clean water. This prevents fibers sticking together, an effect which is often found in carpets that have been shampooed in the conventional way. That's why carpets cleaned by spray extraction stay clean longer. 

The residual dampness is only 10-15% max., owing to the strong vacuum extraction. 

Organizations such as hospitals, play schools and schools can disinfect the carpets together with the cleaning process. 

The spray-extraction process is quite gentle and easy on carpets. 

Therefore even deep-pile carpets and shaggy carpets can be thoroughly cleaned with Kärcher spray extraction cleaners.
